In this issue:

Fall Break | October 5–12

Fall Break is just around the corner! Our students, families, and staff will have a chance to take a well-deserved break from the school routine, recharge, and enjoy some quality time together.

Have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable Fall Break, Tigers! We look forward to welcoming our students back on Tuesday, October 13, refreshed and ready for another great week!

Support CCHS Student Artists

Baptist Health Princeton Clinic is hosting a Silent Art Auction to support the Caldwell County High School Art Department. The auction will feature original artwork created by CCHS students, providing an opportunity to showcase their creativity while supporting the continued growth of the department at CCHS.

The auction will run from October 1 through October 31. Additional information about the auction and how to participate is included in the flyer.

Parent-Teacher Conferences | October 22 & 27

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 22, and Tuesday, October 27. These conferences provide a valuable opportunity for parents and teachers to connect, discuss student progress, celebrate successes, and work together to support each student’s continued growth.

We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity to connect with their child’s teacher. We look forward to partnering with our families to help every student thrive!

Kindness Week | October 26-30

Caldwell County Primary School and Caldwell County Elementary School are celebrating Kindness Week! Throughout the week, students are encouraged to spread kindness, show compassion, and look for ways to make a positive difference in the lives of those around them.

From small acts of kindness to big gestures, every kind action can make an impact. We love seeing our Tigers learn that kindness matters and that they have the power to brighten someone’s day!

Red Ribbon Week | October 26-30

Caldwell County Middle School is celebrating Red Ribbon Week! Throughout the week, students will participate in activities designed to promote healthy choices, positive decision-making, and a commitment to living a drug-free life.

Red Ribbon Week is an opportunity to remind our students that the choices they make today can help shape their future.

Reminders

Every School Day Counts!

Regular attendance is an important part of student success. As families plan for the 2026–2027 school year, please keep these attendance reminders in mind:
  • 5 Parent Notes: Each student may use up to 5 parent notes for absences each school year.
  • 5 Tardy Parent Notes: Students may also use up to 5 parent notes for tardies each year.
  • 3-Day Deadline: Parents and guardians have 3 school days after a student returns to school to submit an excuse for an absence.
Families should also be mindful of chronic absenteeism, which is defined as missing 10% of the school year—about two days each month—whether absences are excused or unexcused.

Every day matters. Every absence adds up. Let’s make every school day count!
