Tiger Families,

Welcome to this month’s edition of the Caldwell County Schools Newsletter! Each month, we’ll share important updates, upcoming events, and helpful reminders to keep our families and community informed and connected.

2026-2027 School Calendar

We’re excited to share that the District Calendar for the 2026–2027 School Year has been officially approved by the Board of Education!

The approved calendar includes the first and last days of school, holidays, professional development days, and scheduled breaks to help families plan ahead with confidence. The calendar reflects thoughtful input from staff, families, and community members to support student learning while balancing important time for rest and professional growth.

You can view the full calendar on the district website and begin planning for a successful upcoming school year. We look forward to another great year together!
Daily themes for Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week- CCPS & CCES

Join us as we celebrate Red Ribbon Week at Caldwell County Primary School and Caldwell County Elementary School. It's going to be a FUN week, Tigers!

Class of 2027 Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

Join us for an evening of suspense, laughter, and delicious food! Enjoy dinner while a mystery unfolds right before your eyes—then work together with your table to solve the case. Expect plot twists, interactive fun, and plenty of surprises throughout the night.
 
T​he last day to purchase tickets is March 4th at midnight.

Silent Auction:
Browse and bid on a variety of items generously donated by members of our local community. Don’t miss your chance to take home something special while supporting the Class of 2027!

Make-Up Days

Due to winter weather closures, the days circled in yellow are the designated Make-Up Days. These dates will be regular instructional days to ensure we meet our required school calendar. Thank you for your continued flexibility and support as we work to keep learning on track.

Scholastic Book Fair

We're excited to once again host a Spring Book Fair at Caldwell County Primary School, Caldwell County Elementary School, and Caldwell County Middle School.

The book fair will be open during Parent- Teacher Conference on Thursday, March 19, from 4-7 p.m.

Reminder: Bus Notes and Transportation Changes

Bus Notes and Transportation Changes
To ensure student safety and clear communication, we will no longer accept bus notes or transportation changes over the phone unless it is an emergency. Please submit all transportation changes to your school secretaries through email or ParentSquare. This change was effective Monday, November 3, 2025

Drop-Off Policy Reminder
Students must be in 6th grade or above to be dropped off without an adult. Younger students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or a sibling who is in 6th grade or above.

2025-2026 School Calendar

Please note that this calendar does not include make-up days (listed below). We will only have ONE spring Parent-Teacher Conference night- Thursday, March 19, from 4-7 p.m.

School Food Pantry

The School Food Pantry is located at CCES. Families with children enrolled in Caldwell County Schools are eligible to visit the food pantry. You can schedule an appointment to visit the pantry by calling the HOPE Center at 270-365-8050 or the COPE Center at 270-365-8026.

School Clinic

The school clinic will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM while school is in session. A dedicated Baptist Health team will be on-site to provide essential health services, ensuring our students and staff have access to the care they need.
