Test Data Released for 2024-2025 School Year
Caldwell County Schools announces increased test scores for the 2024-2025 school year, reflecting strong academic progress across the district.
Caldwell County High School earned a prestigious Blue rating on the Kentucky Summative Assessment, reflecting a significant increase in reading and math scores. The prestigious rating places CCHS among the top schools in the state. Another highlight for CCHS includes the rise in four-year and five-year graduation rates.
Reading and math scores increased districtwide. Caldwell County Elementary and Middle Schools recorded gains in science, social studies, and combined writing. The increase in scores led to a rating system color change for Caldwell County Middle School.
"We are very pleased with these results. Our students have worked hard to improve in all areas,” said Caldwell County Schools Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Roach. “Our students and teachers continue to focus on what their impact will be and that focus is evident with the growth shown in these scores. I am proud that we have had growth in all the schools and that they perform at the top of the region and state."
The Kentucky Department of Education’s accountability system uses a five-color rating scale—Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, and Blue—to reflect school performance, with Blue representing the highest level.
