NO NEW ORDERS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER THURSDAY, APRIL 2, 2020 AT 12:00 PM.  WE WILL RESUME TAKING ORDERS AT 8:00 AM ON MONDAY APRIL 13, 2020.

FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 6-10 DELIVERIES WILL BE MADE BY LOCAL VOLUNTEERS THROUGH HR MINISTRIES.  THEY WILL BE AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE FOLLOWING OUR DROP AND DELIVERY TIMES.  PLEASE BE PATIENT, ATTENTIVE, AND APPRECIATIVE.

THERE WILL BE NO MORE DOOR KNOCK DELIVERIES.  OUR DRIVERS WILL PULL UP TO YOUR SITE, WE WILL HONK, AND IF NO ONE APPEARS AFTER 1 MINUTE WE WILL LEAVE.  YOU WILL NEED TO COME AWAY FROM YOUR DOMICILE AND WE WILL HAND YOU THE MEALS NEAR OUR DELIVERY VEHICLES.  DELIVERIES DO NOT START UNTIL 10:45 AM AND END AT USUALLY AROUND 12:00 PM.  THAT IS AMPLE TIME TO BE READY TO RECEIVE AND NOT TOO LONG TO PLEASE BE ATTENTIVE.

AT THE DROP SITES THERRE MUST BE BETTER PRACTICING OF SAFE DISTANCING.  PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW MASSES OF CHILDREN TO CONGREGATE.  PLEASE LEAVE AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE IN YOUR VEHICLES OR AT HOME.  WHEN YOU ARRIVE AND WE ARRIVE PLEASE LINE UP IN AN ORDERLY MANNER, MAINTAIN AT LEAST 6 FEET DISTANCING, AND PROCEED TO RECEIVE MEALS IN AN ORDERLY FASHION. TIGHT GROUPING AND MASS CONGREGATION CANNOT OCCUR IF YOU WANT TO HELP STOP THIS SPREAD.

WE ARE ASKING THESE MEASURES TO PROTECT BOTH OUR CITIZENS RECEIVING MEALS AND OUR WORKERS WHO ARE DOING THEIR BEST TO FEED HUNDREDS OF OUR CHILDREN DAILY.  IF PROPER DECORUM CANNOT BE MAINTAINED WE WILL HAVE TO REVIEW OUR PRACTICES AND MAY HAVE TO BEGIN LIMITING MEAL DELIVERY OPTIONS. WE DO NOT WANT IT TO COME TO THIS BUT TO MAINTAIN SAFETY FOR ALL IT IS A MUST!

    -  Again, you will choose the best pick-up location for your children to receive your meals. The following are the pick-up locations:

    1.  Violet Loop                                  13.  Cooper Circle

Meals are prepared for children 18 years or younger.  Meals may now be given to parents without the child present.  We do ask that integrity and honesty are maintained and meals are only requested for children 18 and under. A roster will be utilized at each site to help eliminate any potential fraudulent behavior.

    3.  The meal will consist of that day’s lunch items and the next day’s breakfast. The style of meals will change as inventories and ability to transport dictates.

    4.  We ask that all attempts be made to be at the pre-determined pick-up sites but if the student is unable to safely reach a site contact the Caldwell County Board of education at 270-365-8000.

We do ask you, please, to be as understanding and as patient as possible while we continue to figure out the details.  I assure you that if a meal is ordered we will do whatever it takes to feed our students.

The following are the projected pick up times at the delivery sites.  We will make EVERY attempt to be there by that time.  It will be shorter if all meals ordered are handed outPlease be at your pick-up site before the scheduled time.  At smaller pickups we will wait no longer than 10 minutes past the scheduled times.  This prevents us from being late to other’s drops.

Please locate your site below.  Again, these times are quite accurate but may be off depending on speed of delivery at each site. Look for the Caldwell County School Bus at each site at the designated time. Other deliveries will run later. You will need to come out to the Suburban to get you meal.  We will not wait at such stops.  Be looking for your deliveries starting at 11:00 AM and it may take a while to get to your spot. Please be looking for your delivery and listen for the honk.  We WILL NOT bring meals to your doorIf you don’t come out in a reasonable time we will depart.
